Pension Roussos is located in the village of Karterados. Although within easy walking distance from the main road, the area is quiet and typically Santorinian. Karterados Village is situated in the center of Santorini - a good starting point to tour the island.
The nearest bus stop is one minute's walk from the hotel. There are no direct bus routes that go from one side of the island to the other. Every bus starts from Fira and any changeovers for the next bus destination must be made there.
Fira town, capital of Santorini, is close by (800 metres). Fira heads the nightlife in Santorini, and from there you can catch your first glimpse of the Volcano, the Caldera and Santorini's world famous sunset. Several clubs, bars and restaurants are actually on the Caldera - the twinkling lights and full moon shining over the Aegean Sea are indeed a marvellous sight.
